BOLAIKE's freeze-drying equipment has passed three tests conducted by the National Food Machinery Quality Inspection Center

Recently, China Agricultural University commissioned the National Food Machinery Quality Inspection and Testing Center to conduct rigorous performance tests on five freeze-drying units, including a 1-square-meter silicone oil-coated freeze-dryer independently developed by Jiangsu BOLAIKE. The tests used 20 kilograms of carrots as the test material and focused on three core metrics: drying time, energy consumption per unit, and nutrient retention rate. The results showed that the BOLAIKE silicone oil-coated freeze dryer achieved a drying time of just 11.52 hours, with an energy consumption of 2.89 kWh per kilogram. The equipment’s energy consumption was significantly lower than the industry average, and its drying efficiency was nearly double that of traditional equipment. In terms of nutrient retention, the carotene retention rate reached 57.81%, demonstrating particularly outstanding performance. This set of data provides authoritative validation of the energy efficiency, high performance, and quality assurance of BOLAIKE freeze-drying equipment.

Authoritative Testing: Excellent Performance Across All Three Key Metrics
The National Food Machinery Quality Inspection and Testing Center is one of the most authoritative third-party testing institutions in China’s food machinery sector. Commissioned by China Agricultural University, the testing process was conducted in strict accordance with relevant national standards. Fresh carrots were selected as the test material, with a batch size of 20 kilograms. Tests were conducted on the BOLAIKE 1-square-meter silicone-coated freeze dryer and other models. The results showed that the silicone-coated freeze dryer achieved uniform drying of the material in just 11.52 hours, significantly shorter than the 20+ hours typically required by traditional freeze-drying equipment; The specific energy consumption was 2.89 kWh per kilogram, significantly lower than the industry average of 4.0–5.0 kWh per kilogram. More notably, the retention rate of β-carotene—a heat-sensitive nutrient in carrots—reached as high as 57.81%, demonstrating that the equipment maximizes the preservation of the material’s original nutritional content during the low-temperature drying process.

Technical Insights: Three Integrated Designs Drive a 25%–35% Reduction in Overall Energy Consumption

Behind these outstanding performance figures lie the unique technical advantages of BOLAIKE freeze dryers. BOLAIKE’s R&D team has systematically redesigned the freeze-drying equipment. Through a compact, integrated system design, the three core modules—refrigeration, vacuum, and heating—have been consolidated into a single layout. This effectively shortens energy transmission paths and reduces losses in intermediate stages, resulting in a 25%–35% reduction in overall energy consumption compared to traditional models. This design also significantly reduces the equipment’s footprint, allowing laboratories and small-scale production settings to benefit from industrial-grade freeze-drying performance.

Silicone Oil Temperature Control + Radiant Heating: Freeze-Drying Efficiency Increased by 20%–50%

Addressing the pain points of traditional freeze-drying equipment—such as slow pre-freezing and uneven temperature distribution—the BOLAIKE silicone oil-based freeze-dryer employs industrial-grade silicone oil circulation in direct contact with the trays for highly efficient cooling. The superior thermal conductivity of silicone oil rapidly cools the trays to the set temperature, significantly reducing pre-freezing time. Additionally, the equipment utilizes radiant heating technology, which evenly penetrates the material through thermal radiation, avoiding the localized overheating issues that can occur with traditional conductive heating. This powerful dual-action design—combining cooling and heating—boosts freeze-drying efficiency by 20%–50% compared to traditional equipment, allowing users to complete more batches of freeze-drying operations in less time.

Far Superior to Traditional Models: BOLAIKE’s Compact Equipment Delivers “Hard Power”

For a long time, bell-jar freeze dryers—widely used in laboratories and small-scale production settings—have suffered from issues such as low efficiency, high energy consumption, and imprecise temperature control. Through the aforementioned technological innovations, BOLAIKE has enabled its compact freeze-drying equipment—such as the 1-square-meter model—to comprehensively outperform traditional models in three key areas: drying time, energy consumption, and nutrient retention, truly achieving “small equipment, high performance.” Whether in university research laboratories or pilot production facilities in the food, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sectors, BOLAIKE’s compact freeze-dryers deliver stable, efficient, and precise freeze-drying services.

BOLAIKE: Let the Data Speak, Built on Technology

Passing the rigorous assessment by a national authoritative testing agency and demonstrating its capabilities through outstanding data is a testament to BOLAIKE’s long-standing commitment to technology-driven innovation and quality first. A BOLAIKE representative stated: “The test data provides objective validation of our technological approach. “In the future, BOLAIKE will continue to deepen its expertise in freeze-drying technology and continuously optimize product performance to provide domestic and international users with more energy-efficient, high-performance, and reliable freeze-drying equipment, thereby supporting innovation and development in the food and biotechnology sectors.”

From laboratories to production lines, and from domestic to international markets, BOLAIKE is earning the trust of an increasing number of professional users through its solid technical expertise and consistently validated, hard data. BOLAIKE: Designed for efficiency, built for precision.
