Recently, a delegation led by the chairman and regional manager of a well-known Brazilian coffee company paid a special visit to the headquarters of Jiangsu BOLAIKE, where they conducted a comprehensive tour of the company’s modern industrial base and production facilities. The purpose of this visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of BOLAIKE's technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities in the field of food freeze-drying, as well as to explore prospects for cooperation between the two parties in the area of advanced coffee processing. As the world’s largest coffee producer, Brazil boasts a vast coffee cultivation and export industry and has been actively promoting a shift in recent years from the export of raw agricultural products to high-value-added, advanced processing. Leveraging its technological leadership in freeze-drying equipment, BOLAIKE is emerging as a key partner in meeting this demand.
Brazil remains the world’s leading coffee producer and serves as a “stabilizing force” in the global supply chain. Data shows that in 2025, Brazil’s coffee exports reached approximately 44.9 million bags, generating over $10 billion in foreign exchange earnings—a record high for the country’s coffee industry. However, Brazilian coffee exports have long been dominated by green beans, with a low proportion of value-added processing, leaving significant room for increasing the value of the product. With the rise of the global health-conscious consumption trend, demand for freeze-dried coffee continues to climb due to its advantages, such as maximizing the retention of coffee aroma and flavor compounds, as well as ease of storage and transportation. According to industry reports, the global freeze-dried coffee market was valued at approximately $4.24 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to $7.3 billion by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.03%. This trend presents a significant opportunity for Brazil’s coffee industry to transition from raw material exports toward brand-driven and specialty coffee production.
During the visit, the Brazilian delegation toured BOLAIKE’s production facilities, R&D testing center, and complete machine assembly lines. The company’s comprehensive implementation of intelligent management systems, lean manufacturing processes, and end-to-end quality control systems for large and medium-sized freeze-drying equipment left a deep impression on the clients. They focused their inspection on industrial freeze-dryers suitable for advanced coffee processing—including 30-square-meter, 40-square-meter, and larger models—and gained detailed insights into the equipment’s moisture capture systems, temperature control precision, energy-saving solutions, and automated operation capabilities. BOLAIKE freeze dryers feature an integrated design, equipped with high-efficiency moisture capture systems and precise temperature control technology. They efficiently remove moisture from coffee extracts under low-temperature, low-pressure conditions, maximizing the retention of the coffee’s natural aroma, flavor compounds, and active ingredients, thereby ensuring the consistent quality and authentic taste of freeze-dried coffee powder. Additionally, the equipment offers advantages such as high automation, exceptional drying efficiency, and stable, long-term operation. The large-capacity drying chamber design significantly enhances single-batch processing capacity, effectively reducing overall energy consumption and production costs.
Upon learning that BOLAIKE’s equipment has successfully served mature markets in Europe, the Americas, and elsewhere, and boasts a wealth of application cases in sectors such as coffee, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, and bioproducts, the client expressed high recognition of BOLAIKE’s manufacturing capabilities and delivery capacity. A representative from BOLAIKE provided a detailed overview of the company’s technical expertise in coffee freeze-drying, including freeze-drying process curves optimized for the characteristics of coffee materials, temperature control strategies, and energy-efficient operating solutions. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as process parameters for freeze-drying coffee extracts, equipment selection, production capacity planning, and ongoing technical support.
A representative from BOLAIKE stated: “We warmly welcome the visit from senior executives of Brazilian coffee companies. Brazil is a cornerstone of the global coffee industry, and freeze-drying technology is a key means of enhancing coffee’s value-added potential and expanding into high-end markets. We look forward to leveraging this exchange to provide our Brazilian partners with advanced freeze-drying solutions, helping the Brazilian coffee industry achieve a transformative upgrade from raw material exports to deep processing."
The successful visit by the senior executives from the Brazilian coffee company has further solidified Jiangsu BOLAIKE’s brand influence in the South American market and demonstrated the company’s professional capability to empower global agricultural upgrades through technological innovation. Moving forward, BOLAIKE will continue to uphold the philosophy of “technology-led innovation and service excellence.” Leveraging its new smart manufacturing base and extensive experience in international cooperation, the company will provide customized, one-stop high-end freeze-drying solutions to global coffee and other food processing enterprises, striving to become a trusted partner and industry benchmark in the field of international freeze-drying technology.
