Q4. Do I need a pre-freezing room for a 100 m² unit?

For continuous operation, yes. Integrated pre-freezing inside the freeze dryer is available for medium and large units, but a separate pre-freezing room typically shortens the cycle and simplifies loading. The equipment must be supplied with a reliable feed of fully frozen material to avoid partial thawing and inconsistent drying.
