Delegations from renowned universities and companies in the field of drying technology, both domestic and international, visited Jiangsu BOLAIKE to promote international exchange and cooperation in freeze-drying technology


Recently, Jiangnan University, in collaboration with the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Northwest A&F University, Nanjing Forestry University, Henan University of Technology, Queensland University of Technology, and other renowned domestic universities, joined forces with India’s GEM, Australia’s Queensland University of Technology, and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology—a joint venture between Germany and Colombia— as well as renowned international universities and enterprises such as the University of Magdeburg (a Sino-German partnership), paid a special visit to the BOLAIKE Modern Industrial Base in Jiangsu to conduct tours, exchanges, and academic seminars. The purpose of this visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of BOLAIKE’s technological innovations and industrialization achievements in the field of food freeze-drying equipment, and to promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research in the international drying technology sector.



As a leading university in China’s food science and engineering field, Jiangnan University has long been committed to basic research and industrial applications of drying technology. The delegation’s visit, organized in collaboration with numerous domestic and international universities and enterprises, was motivated by BOLAIKE’s leading position in China’s food freeze-drying equipment sector, characterized by the largest number of patents and extensive technological expertise. The delegation members spanned multiple fields, including drying technology research, equipment development, and food processing, comprising both renowned scholars from universities and technical leaders from enterprises, reflecting the interdisciplinary and international nature of this exchange.

On the day of the event, the delegation toured BOLAIKE’s large-scale equipment production workshops, R&D testing center, and complete machine assembly lines, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company’s end-to-end manufacturing system—from component processing to final product delivery. BOLAIKE’s comprehensive implementation of intelligent management systems, lean manufacturing processes, and end-to-end quality control systems left a deep impression on the visiting experts. The delegation focused on inspecting several of BOLAIKE’s core devices in the food freeze-drying sector, including small-scale laboratory freeze dryers, medium-scale production freeze dryers, and large-scale industrial freeze dryers, gaining detailed insights into the equipment’s water-trapping systems, temperature control precision, energy-saving solutions, and automated operation capabilities.



At the subsequent technical exchange seminar, BOLAIKE’s R&D team presented the delegation with the company’s latest achievements in energy conservation, intelligent control, and material adaptability for freeze-drying equipment. The visiting experts highly praised BOLAIKE’s equipment for reducing overall energy consumption by 20%–30% compared to traditional products, significantly improving drying efficiency, and utilizing core components from leading international brands. Experts from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology noted that BOLAIKE’s freeze-drying equipment has reached internationally advanced levels in both design and performance, particularly highlighting the impressive innovations in automated control and fault prediction systems. Scholars from the University of Magdeburg expressed strong interest in the extensive application cases of BOLAIKE equipment in sectors such as food and biotechnology, noting that there is vast potential for collaboration between the two parties in optimizing freeze-drying processes and developing drying solutions for new types of materials.

This concentrated visit by numerous renowned domestic and international universities and enterprises not only provided BOLAIKE with an international platform to showcase its technical strength and manufacturing capabilities but also laid a solid foundation for establishing long-term cooperative relationships with leading research institutions in the drying field both at home and abroad. A representative from BOLAIKE stated: “We are deeply honored to host experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from the global drying industry. This exchange has deepened our understanding of cutting-edge international trends in drying technology and market demands, while also highlighting the advantages and potential of our own technological approach. The visit concluded successfully amid lively discussions and a friendly atmosphere. Both parties reached a preliminary agreement on future cooperation in joint R&D, talent development, and the commercialization of technological achievements. BOLAIKE will use this international exchange as an opportunity to further broaden its global perspective, continuously enhance its innovation capabilities, and strive to become a trusted partner and industry benchmark in the field of international freeze-drying technology.
