On January 31, 2026, at the “Pulsating Renewal—SIENO 2026 Annual Conference and New Product Launch,” SIENO Freeze-Drying Technology Research Institute (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. officially unveiled its independently developed “Vacuum Pulsating Freeze-Dryer.” Under typical food freeze-drying conditions, this machine utilizes an optimized vacuum pulsation drying process to increase overall freeze-drying efficiency by approximately 30%–50% compared to traditional continuous constant-vacuum modes, marking a significant breakthrough in the field of freeze-drying technology.

Underpinning this technological breakthrough is the top-tier academic team assembled by the SIENO Freeze-Drying Technology Research Institute. Leading scholars in China’s freeze-drying technology field—including Professor Xiao Hongwei of China Agricultural University, Professor Zhang Weipeng of Beijing Technology and Business University, Professor Wang Dong of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, and Professor Wang Jun of Northwest A&F University—form the core team of the institute, establishing SIENO Research Institute as one of the country’s most cutting-edge R&D institutions in freeze-drying technology.
