Recently, a delegation of representatives from Indian food processing companies visited BOLAIKE’s modern industrial base in Jiangsu to conduct a specialized inspection and hold business negotiations regarding the procurement of freeze-drying equipment for curry, spices, and ready-to-eat foods. The purpose of the visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of BOLAIKE’s technical strengths and equipment performance in the field of food freeze-drying, and to explore freeze-drying solutions suitable for the advanced processing of India’s local specialty foods. Following the inspection, both parties reached a preliminary agreement on equipment selection and technical specifications.
India is one of the world’s largest producers and consumers of spices, with products such as curry, herbs, and chili peppers holding a significant position in the international market. However, the Indian spice and ready-to-eat food processing sectors currently rely primarily on traditional methods such as sun-drying and hot-air drying, resulting in significant nutrient loss and inconsistent product quality. As global consumer demand for natural, healthy, and convenient foods continues to grow, freeze-drying technology—with its unique ability to maximize the retention of color, aroma, and active ingredients—is emerging as a key pathway for Indian food companies to upgrade their products and expand into high-end international markets.
During the visit, the Indian delegation toured BOLAIKE’s large-scale equipment production workshop, R&D testing center, and complete machine assembly line, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company’s entire process from component manufacturing to final product delivery. BOLAIKE’s comprehensive implementation of intelligent management systems, lean manufacturing processes, and end-to-end quality control systems left a deep impression on the clients. The clients focused their inspection on medium- and large-scale industrial freeze dryers suitable for products such as curry sauces, spice powders, and ready-to-eat dishes, gaining detailed insights into the equipment’s moisture capture systems, temperature control precision, energy-saving solutions, and automated operation capabilities.
Given the characteristics of materials such as curry—which have high oil content and volatile aromatic compounds—BOLAIKE’s technical staff provided customers with a detailed explanation of the technical advantages of the company’s freeze-drying equipment. Specifically, they highlighted its ability to efficiently remove moisture under low-temperature, low-pressure conditions while maximizing the retention of natural aromatic compounds. BOLAIKE’s freeze-dryers feature an integrated design; through systematic optimization of the three core modules—refrigeration, vacuum, and heating—their overall energy consumption is reduced by 25%–35% compared to traditional models. The equipment incorporates a highly efficient water capture system with an efficiency rate exceeding 99%, reducing drying time by approximately 30%. Equipped with a silicone oil circulation temperature control system and patented radiant heating technology, it can precisely regulate tray temperatures within a range of -35°C to 80°C, improving freeze-drying efficiency by 20%–50% compared to traditional equipment. These technical features ensure minimal loss of aroma during the freeze-drying process for heat-sensitive materials such as curry and spices, excellent rehydration properties, and long-term storage at room temperature without the need for any preservatives.
The client highly praised BOLAIKE’s equipment for its energy efficiency, drying performance, and material adaptability. A client representative noted that Indian food processing companies are actively seeking suppliers of efficient and reliable freeze-drying equipment to drive the transition of local specialty foods from traditional processing to modern, value-added processing. BOLAIKE’s equipment solutions and production capabilities fully meet the quality standards and process requirements of the Indian market, and its technical expertise in handling oil-containing spices—such as curry—is precisely what they need.
Upon learning that BOLAIKE equipment has been successfully exported to numerous countries and regions across Europe, the Americas, Central Asia, and Russia, and boasts extensive application cases in sectors such as fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, coffee, and spices, the Indian client expressed full recognition of BOLAIKE’s manufacturing capabilities and international delivery capacity. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on specific matters including equipment models, production capacity configurations, follow-up technical support, and delivery schedules, and reached a preliminary purchase agreement.
A BOLAIKE representative stated: “We warmly welcome the Indian clients’ visit. The Indian market holds immense potential, and the demand for freeze-drying processing of specialty foods such as curry and spices is growing rapidly. The clients have highly affirmed our technical solutions and production capabilities, and both parties have reached a preliminary purchase agreement. BOLAIKE will continue to adhere to the philosophy of ‘technology-led and service-oriented,’ providing Indian clients with freeze-drying equipment tailored to local materials and full-cycle technical support.”
The successful visit by the Indian clients and the establishment of a preliminary purchase agreement have further expanded BOLAIKE’s business footprint in the South Asian market. Moving forward, BOLAIKE will continue to leverage its extensive portfolio of patents and rich experience in international cooperation to provide customized, one-stop freeze-drying technology solutions for food processing enterprises worldwide.
