Recently, Jiangsu BOLAIKE completed the commissioning of its new freeze-dried bean product production line at its customer experience center. The initial trial production has been completed, marking an important step in the company’s exploration of low-temperature drying technology and the development of plant-based food products.
During the trial production phase, selected yellow soybeans were processed through a controlled low-temperature drying process to produce fine soybean powder products. The project focuses on improving product convenience, storage flexibility, and application possibilities while maintaining the natural characteristics of soybean ingredients.
The operation of the production line provides a new approach for developing soybean-based food products and supports further exploration of plant-based food applications in different consumer scenarios.

Applying Low-Temperature Drying Technology to Plant-Based Food Development
Soybeans are widely used in food applications due to their plant-based protein content, nutritional components, and natural flavor characteristics. However, traditional soybean products may face challenges related to storage conditions, transportation requirements, and preparation convenience.
Fresh soybean products generally require controlled storage environments and have limited distribution flexibility. Conventional drying methods may involve higher processing temperatures, which can influence certain heat-sensitive components and affect product characteristics after rehydration.
The low-temperature drying process applied in this project helps reduce thermal impact during processing and supports the retention of important nutritional components and natural soybean characteristics. Through process optimization, the freeze-dried soybean powder achieved stable dissolution performance and consistent texture during preparation.

Improving Product Convenience Through Freeze-Dried Processing
One of the advantages of freeze-dried food technology is its ability to provide flexible storage and preparation options. Compared with traditional soybean products, freeze-dried soybean powder can be stored and transported more conveniently while maintaining product quality over an extended period.
The developed soybean powder products can be consumed directly or prepared with cold or hot water according to different usage scenarios. The powder disperses efficiently during rehydration, creating a soybean-based beverage with a smooth texture and consistent taste.
This product format provides additional possibilities for plant-based food applications, including convenient nutrition products, beverage solutions, and other soybean-derived food categories.
Expanding Applications of Plant-Based Freeze-Dried Products
With growing interest in convenient and nutritious food options, plant-based products continue to receive attention from food manufacturers and consumers. Freeze-drying technology provides opportunities to develop products with improved storage flexibility and diversified consumption methods.
Following the completion of the trial production, Jiangsu BOLAIKE will continue improving its processing capabilities and exploring additional freeze-dried products based on soybeans and other plant-based ingredients.
BOLAIKE will work with customers and industry partners to further develop plant-based food solutions and explore new applications of low-temperature drying technology in food processing.

Supporting Future Food Processing Development Through Technology Improvement
By combining product development experience with practical production capabilities, Jiangsu BOLAIKE aims to provide flexible processing solutions for customers seeking new opportunities in plant-based food development.
The completion of this production line represents a further step in the company’s continuous improvement of food processing capabilities and its focus on supporting the development of plant-based food applications.
